This cheerful little pup was taken in from the wilderness by Lilac and Carol a few years ago. Past Roles: Icari (Sunrider), Bernard's Wife & Villagers (Folk Tale) She has the motorcycle at least, so that's a start! Carol desires the simple things in life: lots of money, a massive house, a rockin' motorcycle, and worldwide fame. It was there that she met Lilac, and after a brief rivalry, became her best friend. Although she has grown more reserved throughout her battles, she still has a big heart and will jump at the chance to help her friends.Ĭarol is a snarky wildcat who ran away as a kitten to join the Red Scarves: an underground thieves’ guild in Shang Mu. She was trained at a young age by the Red Scarves, but left their ranks in order to find her place in life. She is known for her unique fighting style of cutting through foes with her twin ponytails. Lilac is believed to be the last water dragon in existence. Overall, a most enjoyable game and def a franchise i hope to see more of, but i hope some of its flaws will be adressed for the sequel.Past Roles: Ritsuka Tachibana (Dance With Devils), Frosch (Fairy Tail) A health bar for Bosses would also have been nice thing, but for some strange reason, there ain`t. Though the game does`nt feel very original, the fast-paced combat feels sometimes a bit to crazy for me. There is attention to small details like how you can sit on benches or the characters you play as dance to the music in a certain level and i just love these kinds of small details. Not the best or most creative story, but it works just fine. The plot if overall pretty simple, as you set out to stop this alien conqueror from leaving with the mcguffin. The characters are fun, Lilac being my favorite (Why yes, i do love Dragons). The levels are fun and non linear, with Dragon Valley being my favorite. The music is pretty good, Dragon Valley especially is 10/10. I am a sucker pixel art games and i really enjoyed this game. I spotted this game as a Game of the Day on the Eshop and saw it had a demo, i tried it, enjoy it and bought it. Freedom planet characters have different stages trial#
There is an achievement based system, collectibles that earn you rewards (such as music tracks, concept sketches, etc), as well as a time trial mode. The music fits the game very well, but wasn't as memorable as other parts of the game. The voice acting is surprisingly very well done with odes to different characters in pop culture but with its own originality. The story is a very important part of the game and it's very well written.

There's three playable characters, each with their own attributes and levels. Right from the start, you know this game was made with love and adoration by it's team. If you go into this game expecting Sonic, you might as well play a Sonic game as the controls have similar features, but have different mechanics.
